About Us
Understanding the Brain Behind the Behavior
AUplusDHD is a neurodivergent education platform designed to help people understand Autism, ADHD, and the combined AuDHD neurotype using inside out explanations.
What We Do
We translate the neurodivergent experience.
We break down complex concepts into clear, visual, and relatable explanations using:
Simulations
Music
Interactive components
metaphors (like “different operating systems”)
simple, scannable language
So both neurodivergent individuals and the people around them can finally understand what’s happening beneath the surface.
We Connect the Internal Experience to External Behavior
Many challenges associated with AuDHD are misunderstood because they are invisible. We help bridge that gap by explaining:
what something feels like internally
why it looks a certain way externally
This reduces misinterpretation and improves communication.
Who This Is For
AUplusDHD is built for:
Neurodivergent individuals
who want to better understand their patterns, reduce self-blame, and work with their brainFamilies and partners
who want to support their loved ones without misunderstanding their behaviorClinicians and educators
who want a more accurate, neurodivergent-affirming lens in their work
Our Philosophy
We believe:
Behavior makes sense when you understand the system behind it
Differences are not deficits—they are variations in how the brain processes information
Support should be about fit, not forcing conformity
Insight reduces shame and creates room for change.
Did you know?
Many of our educational resources, including visual explainers, simulations, and interactive learning tools, are rooted in the Inside-Out Framework, the guiding lens through which AUplusDHD.com explores and explains neurodivergence.
Founder
Ms. T studies the lived experiences of neurodivergent people through interviews, self-reports, and emerging research. She develops practical educational frameworks that help people understand their internal experiences while replacing shame-based narratives with accurate, affirming explanations.
